For parents

You do not need every answer before you call.

If something has changed and weekly therapy is no longer enough, start with what you have noticed. We will help you understand the next step.

Trust what you are noticing

Start with what has changed.

If you are here, something has shifted. Maybe it has been building for a while. Maybe it happened fast. You do not need to know exactly what the problem is before asking for help. Start with what you have seen and what feels different at home.

What to expect

Care that leaves room for home.

We offer PHP and IOP for adolescents ages 10–17. Teens return home every evening. IOP meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with morning or afternoon groups, so school and daily routines can continue.

Your role

You have a role in the plan.

Family therapy is part of treatment. The team will explain how you will participate, talk with you about progress, and help you recognize the skills your teen is practicing.

Practical questions

What parents usually ask first.

If your question is not here, call us. You will speak with a person who understands the programs.

How do I know if my teen needs PHP or IOP?
You do not need to decide that before calling. We will ask about what has been happening, talk through safety and daily functioning, and recommend the level of care that fits.
Will I be kept in the loop during treatment?
Yes. Family sessions and regular communication are built into how we work. If something changes between scheduled updates, the treatment team will reach out directly.
What if my teen does not want to come?
A lot of teens start there. You can call before your teen is fully on board. We can help you think through how to approach the conversation without turning it into another fight.
Will my teen fall behind in school?
IOP meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with a morning option (9am–12pm) or an afternoon option (3:30–6:30pm). PHP runs during the day, and our team will help you think through school logistics while your teen is in the program.
How does insurance work?
We verify your specific benefits before treatment begins and explain expected costs. We do not accept Medicaid, and self-pay is available.
What happens after the program ends?
We build a clear transition plan with your family and outpatient providers, so support is in place before your teen leaves the program.
