Honoring Josh:

The Heart of Joshua Tree Health

Joshua Tree Health is inspired by the life and memory of my brother, Josh. A veteran of the Iraq War, Josh returned home to face a difficult battle with PTSD and addiction. Despite countless attempts at recovery, including traditional rehabs and alternative therapies, he struggled to find lasting peace.

Amidst these challenges, Josh found solace in the serene landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park. He deeply connected with the resilience of the Joshua Tree, a symbol of strength in harsh conditions. His love for Vipassana meditation, practiced in the quietude of the park, became a crucial part of his journey toward inner peace.

Though Josh's battle ended tragically, his spirit lives on through the mission of Joshua Tree Health. The Joshua Tree represents not only his strength but also our commitment to supporting mental health providers who bring hope and care to those in need, even in the most challenging environments.
